Wilbur 'Will' Earl Coffey Obituary

Wilbur “Will” Earl Coffey, 85, of Campton, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2026. He was born on August 13, 1940, in Plymouth, New Hampshire, to Earl Coffey and Charlotte Wing Coffey.

Will graduated from Plymouth High School in 1958. In 1960, he joined the United States Army and was stationed in Italy during his service. After returning home, he worked as a technician for Pitney Bowes, traveling throughout New Hampshire. He later became self-employed, owning and operating a stump grinding and cabinetry business.

On July 10, 1965, Wilbur married Sandra Butler Coffey. Together they raised their two daughters, Christine and Cathy, in his family home on Russell Street. Later, Will and Sandy built their dream home—a beautiful log cabin in Campton on Butler family property—where they created many memories.

Will was a longtime member of the Plymouth Elks Club, which he greatly enjoyed. He loved basketball and especially enjoyed watching his grandchildren play. He also had a passion for antique cars and looked forward to trips to Florida.

Wilbur was predeceased by his parents; his brother, Ronald Coffey; and his wife of nearly 60 years, Sandra Coffey. He is survived by his daughters, Christine (Matthew) Swedberg and Cathy (Todd) Clifford; his seven grandchildren, Jessica Davis, Marcus (Brittney) Swedberg, Drew Swedberg, Aaron (Emily) Davis, Riley (Brianna Lear) Swedberg, Reese Swedberg, and Megan Swedberg; his great-grandchildren, Gavin, Griffin, Sawyer, Emmett, and Ivy; his sister-in-law, Elaine Coffey; his nephews, Kent and Curt, and niece, Cori.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Plymouth Elks Club, 1159 NH Route 175, Holderness, NH 03245.
