Virginia K Jaynes, 94, died on August 1, 2018 at Goldenview Healthcare Center in Meredith following a period of declining health She was born in Somerville, Massachusetts on June 27, 1924 the daughter of Richard O and Margaret (Vollm) Schulz. She was raised in Somerville where she attended local school and a graduate of Medford, Mass high school. Following Highschool, she was employed as a telephone operator. In the 1950's she and her family relocated to New Hampshire residing in North Woodstock, Thornton and Plymouth. While in Plymouth they owned the Diamond L Horse Ranch and for three years running she won the New Hampshire Horse and Trail Award. She enjoyed bingo and playing cribbage. She was predeceased by her husband Harold F Jaynes and her son Stephen Jaynes. She is survived by her son Alan Jaynes of Campton; Richard Jaynes of Sanbornton; one daughter Sandra Warthen of Florida; grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Saturday on August 11th at 11am at Blair Cemetery on Blair Road in Campton. Dupuis Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
