Stephen Norman Huckins Sr. 78, died at Speare Memorial Hospital in Plymouth on December 7, 2015 following a brief illness. Born in Plymouth on July 6, 1937 he was the son of Harold and Norma [Lougee] Huckins. Steve was raised in Bridgewater, he attended the Lower Intervale School and went on to Plymouth High School. Following his school years Steve was employed as a heavy equipment operator for Seaward Construction Co., Hiltz Construction, and Local # 4. He also was employed as a butcher at Barneys Market in Ashland. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and car racing.He was a member of the Plymouth Elks Lodge. He was predeceased by his wife Cora Lee [Comeau] Huckins and his daughter Stephanie. He is survived by his sons Stephen Norman Huckins Jr. and wife Wendy, and Brian Huckins both of Bridgewater, his daughter Fayette Huckins Potter of Bridgewater, 20 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren, his brothers Stanley Huckins of Bridgewater, and Robert Huckins of Whitefield. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday December 12, 2015 at 11am in Green Grove Cemetery Main Street in Ashland.
