Samuel Howe Obituary

Samuel Parker Howe ,68 died unexpectedly at his home in Clear Lake, California on December 10, 2021. Samuel was born on February 26,1953 in Plymouth, New Hampshire, the son of Mabel (Sargent) Howe formerly of Ashland NH and Grandson of Charles Parker Howe of Holderness, New Hampshire.

Sam was a graduate of Plymouth Area High School, Class of 1972.  He was an avid boater, water skier and enjoyed growing up on Squam Lake, his lifelong home.  He went on to work for New Hampshire Electric Cooperative.   He was extremely proud of being a Lineman for 48 years.  He loved his work and the people he worked with. He was currently employed by Pacific Gas and Electric Company in California.  He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers “IBEW” and the American Legion Post of Clear Lake, California where he served as Sargent of Arms.

Sam was a loving father, son, brother, grandfather! He would never hesitate to lend a hand to friends, family or towns people. He will be missed.

He was predeceased by his Mother, Mabel (Sargent) Howe and his Grandfather Charles Parker Howe.

Sam is survived by his seven children, Amy Howe, Samuel Howe, Charles Howe, John Howe, Daniel Howe, Salina Howe-Turnbull and Vincent Smith; his sister Joanne Goewey and his brother Jimmy Cote; and eleven grandchildren.

A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, July 17, 2022 from 11:00 to 2:00 pm at Fosters, 231 Main Street in Plymouth, NH.   Dupuis Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.   For more information go to:  Dupuisfuneralhome.com.
