It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ronald Charles Chapman, 80 of Campton, New Hampshire on November 16, 2024.  He died peacefully surrounded by his family after a long battle with Alzheimer’s.

Ron lived in Suffield, CT until age 11; he then moved to Campton where he attended Plymouth High School.

Ron was employed by Freudenberg for 40 years.  He was a life member of the Plymouth Elks Lodge.  He loved being outdoors!   He enjoyed gardening, canoeing, singing in the Pemi Choral Society, planting flowers, riding his motorcycle, camping, going to breakfast at Annie’s overflow and traveling.

Ron is predeceased by his parents, Charles and Mildred Chapman of Campton.

He is survived by his wife Irene of 46 years, stepson Ron Dunn (wife Cara), two daughters Melissa and Alicia.   Orea and Yogi Bear his two beloved cats will surely miss him.

Funeral service will be held at the Campton Congregational Church, Rt 175 in Campton on Thursday November 21, 2024 at 11:30 am.  Family and friends may call at the Church from 10am to 11:30am.  Burial to follow in Blair Cemetery in Campton, New Hampshire.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Campton/Thornton Fire Department or Pemi Baker Home Health and Hospice.  Dupuis Funeral Home in Ashland is assisting the family with arrangements.
