Robert Clark Guyotte, 77, of Holderness, New Hampshire, died at the Veterans Administration Hospital in White River Junction, Vermont, on January 23, 2024, following a period of declining health.

Bob was born in Plymouth, New Hampshire, on December 11,1946. He was the son of Alphonse and Dorothy (Clark) Guyotte.

Bob grew up in New Hampton, attended Ashland schools, and graduated from Ashland High School in 1964.

In January 1966 he joined the US Air Force, completing basic training in San Antonio, Texas, at Lackland AFB. From Lackland he was sent to technical school at Chanute AFB in Illinois where he trained as a fire engine mechanic. From Illinois he returned to serve his first duty at Loughlin AFB in Del Rio, Texas. From Loughlin AFB he was sent to Okinawa, Japan, and then on to Vietnam. After Vietnam, Bob was formally discharged from the Air Force at Travis AFB in Fairfield, Calif., in July 1969 having achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant.

When Bob returned from the Service he was employed by Constructors, Incorporated, out of Lexington, Mass. He went on to establish Glidden & Guyotte Construction Company in 1972 with Lawson W. He was predeceased by his parents.

Bob spent the past 50 years living on his farm in Holderness that was previously owned by his grandparents, Reginald and Rosalia Clark. When he wasn’t busy on construction sites, he enjoyed being in the hay field and working on the farm raising beef cattle. Bob loved spending time with his children and his grandsons.
