Raymond Joseph Claveau Obituary

Raymond Joseph Claveau 78, died at Concord Hospital on September 4, 2014 following a period of failing health. Born in Plymouth on October 1, 1935 he was the son of Gustave and Blanche [Prescott] Claveau. Ray was raised in Plymouth and was a graduate of Plymouth High School. He went on to serve his country in the U.S. Navy on the USS Antietam aircraft carrier. When he returned home he started a career in the trucking industry, working for his uncle Thomas Claveau, Pike Industries, H.A. Wallace, BDR Transportation, GMI Paving, and with his father. He was predeceased by his wife Mary[ Bliss] Claveau in 1995 and his companion Elaine Berglund in 2013. He is survived by his son Alan Claveau of Watertown Ma. His sister Yvonne Regan of Concord, a stepdaughter Janet Dunn, of Plymouth nieces and nephews. A Graveside Service will be held in Green Grove Cemetery Main Street Ashland on Tuesday September 9, 2014 at 11am.
