Patricia E. Tucker, a lifelong resident of Ashland, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of December 5, surrounded by the love of her family. Pat devoted her life to her family, her community, and the many people who were fortunate enough to know her.

Born and raised in Ashland, Pat graduated from Ashland High School in 1967—an early milestone in what became a lifetime of engagement with her school and her town. For decades, she could be found courtside or at the ball fields, faithfully keeping score at basketball, softball, and baseball games. She never missed an NHIAA tournament and always found ways to secure administrative passes for parking and admission, a small testament to her resourcefulness and her devotion to local athletics.

For 35 years, Pat served the Town of Ashland with dedication as Town Clerk and Tax Collector. She made it her mission to ensure that every person who came through her office left with the answers they needed. Her knowledge, clarity, and willingness to guide others through even the most complicated questions became hallmarks of her service. Known for her no-nonsense approach, Pat brought professionalism, efficiency, and mastery to her work, earning the respect and gratitude of colleagues and residents alike.

Her commitment to public service extended statewide through her active involvement in the New Hampshire Town Clerk/Tax Collectors Association, where she served as President. A longtime member of the Ashland Woman’s Club, Pat also gave generously of her time and talents, always eager to support local projects and strengthen the community she loved.

Family was at the center of Pat’s life. She is survived by her husband, Robert; her sister, Suzi Calley; her children, Traci and Rob; her daughter-in-law, Lynne; and her cherished grandchildren, Hayden and Sydney. She was predeceased by her daughter, Allison. Her family’s love and pride were constants in her life, and she treasured every moment spent with them.

Calling hours will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home on Friday, January 9, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Emmanuel Episcopal Church, 18 Highland Street, Ashland, NH.
