PATRICIA ANN WEDEN HEINZ Obituary

Patricia Ann [Weden] Heinz 77, died suddenly on May 24, 2018 in Concord, a longtime resident of Ashland. She was born in Woodsville on August 9, 1940, the daughter of Norman C and Elizabeth (Brown) Weden. She was raised and educated in the Ashland School System, a graduate of Ashland High School Class of 1958. She went on to Plymouth State Teachers College where she earned her degree in Education. She was a lifelong educator and taught in Ashland and at Holderness Central School for many years. She was a member of the Ashland Woman's Club; Retired Teachers Association; St Mark's Episcopal Church, where she served on the Altar Guild; a long-time member of the Ashland 4th of July Committee. She was a founder of the Ashland Got Lunch Program and a member of the Lakes Region Retired Educators Association. She enjoyed volunteering, spending time with family and attending her grandchildren's multiple school activities and sporting events. She is survived by her daughter Hillary Moore of Ashland; her grandchildren Cierra and Colby Moore of Ashland; her sister Jane Biordi of New York, her brother N. Scott Weden of Plymouth and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, May 27th from 4 to 6pm at the Dupuis Funeral Home, 11 Hill Avenue in Ashland. A memorial service will be held on Monday May 28, 2018 in St Mark's Episcopal Church at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the "Got Lunch Program" PO Box 886, Ashland, NH 03217.
