Marjorie Knowlton Ash, 84 died on October 22, 2015 at Golden View Health Care Center in Meredith following a period of declining health. Born in Conway on March 16, 1931 she was the daughter of Roland and Dorothy [Goodrich] Kilgore. Marge was raised in Ashland where she attended local schools and was graduate of Ashland High School Class of 1949. Following high school she went on to Secretarial School and was employed as an Executive Secretary to the President of the New Hampshire Electrical Cooperative for 39 years. Marge served the town of Ashland as a Selectman, and on the Budget Committee, she was a member of the Ashland Women's club, member of St. Agnes Catholic church, and Dupuis-Cross Post #15 American Legion Auxiliary for 37 years. She enjoyed her family, trips to Las Vegas, travel, and bingo. She was predeceased by her husband Donald Knowlton in 1987, and her Daughter Dorothy Kaza in 2013. She is survived by her husband Richard Ash, her sons Deke Knowlton of Laconia, Scott Knowlton of Franconia, and Joseph Knowlton of Pa., many Grandchildren, nieces and Nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday October 28, 2015 at 10am in Holy Trinity Parish St. Agnes Catholic Church Hill Ave. in Ashland.
