Obituary
Lyndell E. “Dell” Steele 72, died at Speare Memorial Hospital in Plymouth on September 2, 2023. He was born in Laconia on November 4, 1950, the son of Robert and Louise May (Smith) Steele.
Dell attended the New Hampton Community School and was a graduate of Newfound Memorial High School. Following Dell’s school years, he was employed by AP Blake Plumbing and Heating with Carleton Abear for many, many, years and most recently was employed by Minuteman Plumbing & Heating of Meredith.
He enjoyed Hunting and Fishing, riding his 4wheeler, and just being on the Farm. Dell was a member of the New Hampton Fire Department, Deputy Fire Warden for 14 years. He also loved his Egg Business, which was more of a social event, than Business!
He was predeceased by his wife Teresa A Steele and his parents.
He is survived by his sisters Sherry Gilpatric of New Hampton and Dodie Wyatt and husband Doug of Boise, Idaho and his brothers Rodney Steele of Ashland and Randy Steele of Bristol.
He is also survived by his two brother-in-laws that were more like brothers to him, Lucian E Schofield, Jr and wife Kathy and Maurice M Schofield and wife Pamela of New Hampton, several nieces and nephews and Harley his well loved Bassett Hound.
