JOSEPH MICHAEL MCDERMOTT

Joseph Michael McDermott Sr. 49, died suddenly on February 4, 2016. Born in Laconia on August 2, 1966 he was the son of Joseph F. and Joyce [Cutter] McDermott. A lifelong resident of New Hampton Joe attended the New Hampton Community School and was a graduate of Newfound High School in Bristol. Joe owned and operated his own roofing business Roofing ECT. For many years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, gardening, farming, and making slate picture frames. He was predeceased by his father Joseph F. McDermott. He is survived by his sons Joseph Murphy-McDermott of Rumney, and Devon Murphy-McDermott of Campton. His two daughters Tia Murphy-McDermott of Campton, and Shaunna Murphy-McDermott of Rumney, his mother Joyce McDermott-Boden of New Hampton, two brothers Jeffery McDermott of New Hampton, and Jason McDermott of North Carolina, his step-sister Cheryl Herbert of New Hampton, also by Aunts Uncles Nieces and Nephews.
