John Earl Lyford of Northfield, NH passed away on January 17, 2020 at age 71. He was born on November 19, 1948, the eldest child of the late Norman Earl Lyford and Thelma Mary (Ferrin) Lyford. John attended Ashland High School, class of 1966 and graduated from Plymouth State College, Magna Cum Laude, in 1979. He served in the US Air Force and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. John is survived by his wife of 44 years, Jill (Berry) Lyford of Northfield and his cherished and devoted sons Sean Earl Lyford of Northfield and Jason Edwards Lyford and his wife Lisa-Marie Lyford of Boscawen, NH. John leaves behind his dear Aunt "Auntie" Norma Bedrosian of Sutton, MA whose love, support and kindness knows no bounds. John is also survived by his sister Jane Sawyer and finance' Robert Baker of Ashland, brother Donald Lyford and his wife Daniela Lyford of Northfield, brother Paul Lyford and his partner Deborah Castle of Ashland, brother Mark Lyford and his wife Sally of New Hampton, sister Sara Miller of Lakeland, FL and sister-in-law Carole Lyford of Plymouth. His Aunts Gloria Glidden, her husband Lawson and Jeanette Stewart of Ashland. John adored his three grandchildren, Conner Earl Lyford of Northfield, Nora Diane Lyford and Alaina Jill Lyford of Boscawen. He also leaves many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents John was predeceased by his brothers Thomas, Stephen and Alfred. There will be no calling hours and a private service will be held at a later date as per John's wishes.
