Jerome Patrick McCart 74, died at his home surrounded by his family on Feb 9,2015. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on Sept. 10, 1940, he was the son of William and Gertrude (Cunniff) McCart. Jerry retired after 21 years of service to his country from the United States Navy where he served as a Corpsman through 2 tours in Viet Nam. In recent years he worked with Lakes Region Community Services Council. His hobbies included bass fishing, bowling and wood working. Jerry is proceeded in death by his parents, daughter Deborah Louise McCart, Grandson Jacob Andrew McCart, 3 Brothers John, Paul and Norman. He is survived by his wife of over 50 years Nelliejo (Thompson) McCart of Ashland, Son Patrick Alan (Melissa) McCart of Ashville OH, Kimberley Irene McCart of Ashland, Grandsons Shawn and Connor McCart of Ashville OH, Brothers Bob McCart, James McCart and sisters Kathy Bumgardner, Debbie Kline and Mary Ann Perkins, many nieces and nephews. To honor his wishes there will be no calling hours or service. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or Pemi Baker Hospice of Plymouth NH.
