JAMES ARTHUR &8220JIM&8221 COLE Obituary
James Arthur "Jim" Cole Sr.82, died at his home surrounded by his loving family following an extended period of declining health on September 12, 2014. Born in South Boston MA. On May 2, 1932 he was a son of Marshall and Yvonne [Ouellette] Cole. Jim was raised in South Boston where he attended local schools. In February of 1952 Jim joined the Coast Guard after serving his country he was employed by Gillette Company in Boston as a manager for many years. He was a member of the Dupuis-Cross Post #15 American Legion in Ashland, and St. Agnes Catholic church. Jim enjoyed fishing and most of all time with his family. He is survived by his wife of 63 years Norma (Nelson) Cole of Ashland, three sons, James Cole, Jr of Holderness, Michael Cole of Salem, and Jimmy Cole of Manchester; three daughters, Nora Cole of Foxboro, MA, Donna Locurto of Stoughton, MA, and Nancy Russell of Grafton NH; six grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; two brothers, Marshall Cole of MA. and Robert Cole of ME. Calling hours will be on Monday Evening September 15, 2014 from 6-8 pm. At the Dupuis Funeral Home 11 Hill Avenue in Ashland NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday September 16, 2014 at Holy Trinity Parish St Agnes Catholic Church Hill Ave. in Ashland NH at 10am. Rev. Leo A. Leblanc will be the celebrant. Burial to follow in Green Grove Cemetery Main St. Ashland NH. Dupuis funeral Home in Ashland NH is handling arrangements. For more information go to Dupuisfuneralhome.com.
