Grace Osterhout Beattie

Obituary

Grace Osterhout Beattie 81, of Campton, NH died on March 30, 2022 at the Granite VNA Hospice House in Concord shortly after being diagnosed with cancer. 

She was born on August 11, 1940 in Boston, MA, the daughter of Howard and Pauline (Skoczylas) Osterhout.   Grace was educated at Northeastern University graduating with National Honor Society, year three and four, in 1958.   Following her education, she was employed by RH Stearns Department Store as a Buyer. 

Grace was married to Paul D Beattie on May 17, 1980, residing with her husband on the Cape for 28 years before they moved to Campton, NH.  She was an avid reader, homemaker, gardener and very much enjoyed traveling and her time spent at the KOA Campground in Florida.

Grace is survived by her husband, her brother Richard Osterhout and sister Audrey Dunnell both of Conway, NH.

Visitation & services will be at the Holderness Community Church, 919 US Rt 3, Holderness, NH, on April 7, 2022 at 1:00 pm. Her final resting place will be at the VA Cemetery in Boscawen, NH.
