Edmund Stewart 83, died at Franklin Regional Hospital on December 20, 2017 following a period of failing health. Born in Plymouth on April 19, 1934 the son of Leo and Alice [Tilton] Stewart. Edmund attended Ashland schools and was a graduate of Ashland High School. After his school years Edmund was employed at L.W. Packard Woolen Mills in Ashland for many years, and at Hannaford's in Plymouth. He was predeceased by his parents, and brothers Harvey, Alec, and Arnold. He is survived by his wife Frances [Avery] Stewart of Ashland, his son David Stewart of Plymouth, his daughter Cheri Kenneson of Ashland, 8 Grandchildren, and 2 Great-grandchildren, his sister Priscilla Wool of Meredith, and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held at the Dupuis Funeral Home 11 Hill Avenue in Ashland on Saturday December 30, 2017 from 2-4 pm. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 12th at 2pm in the Trinity Cemetery in Holderness.
