Earl Q. Sanborn 89, died at Speare Memorial Hospital in Plymouth on January 16, 2014 following a period of failing health. He was born in Ashland on April 14, 1924, the son of Earl O and Florence [Dicey] Sanborn.Earl has been living with Charles and May Brosseau for the past eleven years, in Campton, NH. He was a longtime Ashland resident, attending Ashland Schools, a graduate of Ashland High School and went on to graduate from Plymouth Teachers College. Following College, he taught School in Orford, NH and Tilton, NH before entering the US Army. After serving his Country, he was employed at Plant Motors and L.W. Packard, in Ashland, in the Accounting Department for many years. He was an avid reader, book collector and cat lover. He was a member of the Ashland Historical Society. He was predeceased by his parents, and his brother Paul. A Graveside Service will be held in the spring in the Green Grove Cemetery in Ashland.
