Dominic Anthony Lucente, 83, of Ashland NH passed away on May 21, 2024 at his son Daniel’s residence in Yarmouth, Maine. His wife and family were with him. 

Dominic was born in Newton, Massachusetts on February 22, 1941 the son of Anthony Francis and Mary Teresa (Rizza) Lucente.  He graduated from the Newton, MA high school. After graduation he served his Country in the US Army for 3 years, stationed both stateside and abroad.

Dominic married Kathryn Young on October 7, 1972.  They were married for 52 years and had three sons.

Dom worked in many occupations throughout his life. He worked as a stone mason and brick layer with his father, as well as independently. He owned a landscaping and property management company. He was a realtor and broker for a time and operated a property management company for many years. His true love was the restaurant business, and he owned several restaurants in Plymouth and Ashland.

Dom loved cooking and entertaining.  His friends and children’s friends knew that if you came by around dinner, you would be obligated to stay. He embodied the gracious hospitality that was customary of the old-school Italian culture.

Dominic was predeceased by his parents, brother Martin Lucente of Newton, MA, brother Anthony Lucente and his wife Diane of Framingham, MA, his brother-in- law Emelio Medaglia of Rumney, NH, and his sister-in-law Lois Lucente of Wellesley, MA, and his nephew Emelio and niece Jessica.

He is survived by his wife Kathryn Lucente, his sons Anthony Saunders of Rumney, NH, Savario Saunders and his wife Joy of Laconia, NH, Dominic M Lucente and his wife Meredith of Bow, NH, Daniel Lucente and his wife Laura of Yarmouth, ME, Stephen Lucente and his wife Ashli of Torrington, CT, and his daughter Maria Stevens and her husband Arnold of Wentworth, NH, his brother Robert of Naples, FL, his sisters Dr. Rosalie Suescun of Westwood, MA, and Teresa Medaglia of Rumney, NH, and sister-in-law Carol Lucente of Newton, MA. 11 grandchildren, and many nephews, nieces, cousins, and close friends.

Dominic accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior in 1978 and has been a member of the Calvary Independent Baptist Church of Plymouth NH for many years. 

A funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at 11:30am in Calvary Independent Baptist Church, 115 Yeaton Road in Plymouth, New Hampshire with burial to follow.
