Diane Simone Bergeron 
November 4, 1950 – September 24, 2024

Diane Bergeron (Cournoyer), 73, of Campton, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on September 24, 2024.

Born in Sainte-Edwidge Quebec, Canada, Diane was the beloved daughter of Leandre and Yolande (Cote) Cournoyer. Diane immigrated to the United States with her family as a young woman, and it was there that she met her husband, Daniel. The couple married, had a family, and shared a wonderful life together in Manchester/Bedford before eventually moving to Campton, which they have called home for nearly 40 years. Diane was a hard worker, starting at the Manchester shoe factories. After moving to Campton, she initially worked beside Daniel in construction, and eventually retired from Hannaford after 23 years of service to the Plymouth community. 

Family was everything to Diane, and she enjoyed every moment spent together with hers. She showed her love through cooking for those close to her and sharing her recipes with family and friends. She enjoyed playing card games with her grandchildren and gardening. She had a love for all animals, raising her beloved cats, dogs, horses, chickens and pigs, as well as the abundance of wildlife surrounding her. With such a content heart, Diane was always grateful for the everyday moments she shared with her husband, family and friends.

Diane is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 54 years, Daniel J. Bergeron, and their two children: Danny Bergeron and wife, Laura, of Hollis, NH; Debbie Kelly and husband, Ritchard, of Harpswell, ME. Diane is also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Martin Bergeron, Miranda Bergeron, Elisabeth Kelly, and Katherine Kelly; along with her siblings, Pauline Goupil and husband, Jean-Yves Ouellet, of Campton, NH; Rachel Marcoux and husband, Jean, of Bethlehem, NH; and Denis Cournoyer and wife, Lenda, of Gilmanton, NH; and her brothers- and sisters-in-law, Rejean and Lucille Dusseault of Manchester, NH; Alphee Dusseault of Hobe Sound, FL; Lorraine Dusseault of Goffstown, NH; Adrienne Dusseault of St. Christophe D’Arthabaska, Quebec, Canada; Simonne Dusseault of Manchester, NH; and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 24, 2024, 12:30-3:30pm, at the Covered Bridge Farm Table Restaurant, Campton, NH. We will have a prayer service at 1pm.
