David Bryan Tivey Obituary

David Bryan Tivey sadly passed away on June 16, 2024 at his home.  He was born on October 16, 1957.  He grew up in Lakeport, NH and attended Laconia High School.  He served in the U.S. Navy for 27 years.  During his time in the Service, he fought in the Persian Gulf War aboard the Samuel B Roberts Ship.


He enjoyed spending time fishing and hunting, especially ice fishing.  His favorite times consisted of being with his best friend, Andy Blake of New Hampton.


After retirement, he spent his days watching his favorite TV programs and relaxing.


He was predeceased by his younger brother Michael S Conway in 1981, and one nephew Michael that sadly passed away in 2012, and one great nephew Jamison Jacheo that passed away in 2023.


He had one son, David Tivey II and one grandson, David Tivey III of Orlando, FL.  He is also survived by his mother, Beverley Godville of New Hampton, by his sisters Kira Lapierre and husband Bob of Belmont, Crystal Stewart and husband Thomas Stewart of New Hampton, Four nieces Lily, Amanda, Trisha, and Tanya, many cousins, many great nieces.


He was a man of few words but those he loved will forever miss his charismatic personality.


A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 22,2024 at 11:00am in Green Grove Cemetery, Main Street, in Ashland.   For more information go to:  Dupuisfuneralhome.com.
