Anne Marie Arsenault Obituary

Anne Marie Arsenault, 54, passed away peacefully in her home on February 9, 2025, surrounded by her loving family, after a period of declining health, but her legacy of love, kindness, and devotion will live on.

Born in Lowell, Massachusetts on December 12, 1970, Anne was the daughter of James and Sandy (Doig) Donovan, and sister to seven siblings, all of whom she cherished deeply. Anne was educated in the Chelmsford public school system and later attended Southern New Hampshire University, where she earned multiple degrees and developed a passion for lifelong learning.
Anne's sense of patriotism and duty led her to enlist in the United States Air Force, where she served her country honorably from 1991 to 1999. Her commitment to serving others continued as she worked for the Veterans Administration at the Manchester Veterans Medical Center in Manchester, NH, where she was a quality control expert and made a meaningful impact on the lives of countless veterans.

On November 18, 2006, Anne married her soulmate, Robert Arsenault Jr., in a beautiful ceremony at the Alvirne Memorial Chapel in Hudson, New Hampshire. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and adventure, and relocated to New Hampton in 2014, where they built their dream home. Anne was deeply committed to her community and served on the zoning board, making many friends and connections along the way. She and Robert were affectionately known as "The Walkers," a testament to their daily morning walk routine and their love of nature and the great outdoors.

Anne's passions were many and varied, and she had a zest for life that inspired all who knew her. She loved working with her hands, and was a skilled craftswoman who could teach herself anything. She was an avid sports fan, loved exercise and fitness, and was always up for a challenge. Her love of arcade games, school, and card games was contagious, and she had a gift for making everyone around her feel seen, heard, and loved.

Anne is survived by her loving husband, Robert A. Arsenault Jr., and son, Andrew Arsenault, of New Hampton, NH, as well as her sister and six brothers; Mary, Joe, John, Jamie, Neil, Ted, and Mason Donovan; and nieces Stephanie and Melissa. She is also survived by Luanne Smith, Jeff Smith, Robert Arsenault Sr., Brian and Leslie Arsenault, and their children, Celeste, Brody, Bella, and Harlyn, all of whom will deeply miss her love, light, and laughter.

Calling hours will be held at the Dupuis Funeral Home, 11 Hill Avenue, Ashland, on Friday, February 21, 2025, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm in the Chapel at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 DW Highway, Boscawen, New Hampshire. Arrangements are being handled by Dupuis Funeral Home.
