THELMA DOWNING Obituary

Thelma M Downing, 100 years, died peacefully at Golden View Healthcare Center, Meredith, NH on March 26, 2024.

She was born on March 5, 1924 in Plymouth, NH, the daughter of Earl and Celia (Dutton) Hardy, Danforth.

She was predeceased by her husband Leslie M Downing, her son Richard, her sisters Marjorie Goddard and Patricia Ford and her brother Forrest Hardy.

Thelma was survived by her daughter Betty (Downing) Nickerson of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, three grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at a later date.

The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to “The Pines and Compassus Hospice” for their wonderful care of Mom.
